Whether it’s throwing a splashy soirée for opening night, producing dazzling press kits and copy, or getting the word out to key media, Brooke’s friendly enthusiasm informs every strategy she develops for her clients at Studio Seven PR.
Brooke’s collaborative, inventive approach and attention to detail led the way as she handled the pre-opening publicity and launch of Vancouver’s lauded Lupo Restaurant and as she executed successful public relations campaigns for Vancouver jewelry designers Lemon Park and Sancha Tatlock — all during the exciting run-up to the 2010 Winter Olympics in that city.
After moving Studio Seven PR back to Northern California, with clients in San Francisco and the Sonoma Wine Country, Brooke immediately established a reputation for creating original and polished media strategies and effective brand building. Since her return, Brooke has worked with San Francisco’s Festoon Salon, fine jewelry designer Alana Leigh, and with the Sonoma International Film Festival.
In addition to her media relations career, Brooke does freelance writing for fashion trade journals, blogs, community newspapers and parenting anthologies. Prior to starting her PR firm, she worked in major gift fundraising at UC Berkeley for 10 years while also promoting various dj’s, musicians and graffiti artists in the SF nightclub scene.
Brooke is a graduate of UCLA and, after travelling the world, has returned to her hometown of Sonoma, California where her publicity firm is based. She is an avid culinary adventurer, half-marathon runner, and accessories fiend. When she isn’t trying a new recipe, planning menus or creating an inventive meal from whatever is in her pantry, her favorite pastime is family dance party at home with her husband, Matt, and their two children, Satchel and Temple.
